FAQ

Common fixes for AUv3 setup, host discovery, and audio issues.

Why does VoxEase not appear in my host?
  • Install VoxEase from the App Store.
  • Open the VoxEase app once before looking for the plugin in your host.
  • Quit and reopen the host app after launching VoxEase.
  • In the host, add VoxEase from the Audio Unit Extension or AUv3 plugin list.
  • If it still does not appear, restart the device and check the host again.

AUv3 plugins are delivered inside their containing apps. On many systems, the app must be launched at least once before hosts such as GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, or Cubasis can discover the plugin.

How do I add VoxEase to a track?

Open an AUv3-compatible host, choose the track or input you want to process, then add VoxEase from the host's Audio Unit Extension or AUv3 plugin list.

What should I check if I hear no audio?
  • Confirm VoxEase is inserted on the correct track or input channel.
  • Check that the track is not muted and the host is receiving input.
  • Turn Bypass on and off to check whether the issue is coming from VoxEase.
  • Confirm microphone permission if you are using live input.
What should I do if the audio glitches or crackles?
  • Try a higher buffer size in the host if that setting is available.
  • Close other audio apps and reduce the number of active plugins in the session.
  • Test with Bypass enabled, then disabled, and note whether the issue changes.
  • Use headphones when recording live vocals to avoid speaker-to-microphone feedback.
What details should I send with a bug report?
  • Device model and iOS, iPadOS, or macOS version.
  • Host app, for example GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, or Cubasis.
  • Whether VoxEase opens as the standalone app.
  • Whether the AUv3 plugin is missing or opens but has an audio issue.
  • Whether the issue happens with Bypass enabled.
  • Buffer size, sample rate, and a short description of the session.
